JAZZCONNECTS: A new hub of information exchange

19th July 2017 | By JazzUK

Composer, vocalist and producer Emily Saunders has launched JazzConnects - a ‘hub’ to connect UK jazz-related businesses, venues, organisations and musicians.

JazzConnects is a brand new website providing a long overdue replacement for the much missed Jazz Services database, an invaluable resource for all elements of the jazz music industry.

“My vision for JazzConnects is that it will enable collaboration and interaction within the jazz community. I hope that it will create connections between musicians, venues and promoters and become a showcase for all jazz organisations and related services.”

Artists, venues, promoters and educational establishments can list their details or services while visitors to the site can use the powerful search function to seek out information.

After many months of planning and development the website is ready for use.  Emily would like to invite jazz-related businesses, venues, organisations and musicians to sign up to list their profiles and projects so that the site can grow.

“The success of this project depends on the community getting behind it. I want to hear what’s working and what isn’t and what people want from this resource.”

JazzConnects will develop to offer more services, articles and features, generally offering support to the jazz community and Emily has plans to expand beyond the UK and is currently working on an official launch – more details to be released soon.
